Although since 2019 the tournament has been moved to the summer window, the specific climate conditions of Cameroon and Ivory Coast, together with the scheduling of the new 32-team Club World Cup last summer, forced CAF to move the competition back to its usual slot between January and February for the last three editions.
The next edition, scheduled from December 21 to January 18 in Morocco, will exceptionally take place across two years.
Let’s take a look at which Serie A players will be absent for a period ranging from a minimum of two weeks up to a maximum of five.
