Head coach Dino Toppmöller revealed details about Frankfurt's transfer plans in an interview with 'kicker': "It's no secret that we keep our eyes and ears open and consider options that could be both sportingly and economically sensible. The sporting management has made many good decisions in recent years. They will do so again."

In particular, the summer signings Ritsu Doan and Jonathan Burkardt have already made a great impact at Eintracht. Since Ellyes Skhiri and Farès Chaibi will be at the Africa Cup for a month at the end of December, it is speculated that Frankfurt will strengthen this position again.

However, Toppmöller sees no need for action in this position, suggesting they should first wait to see how Mo Dahoud performs and in what condition Oscar Höjlund returns.

"We can't make a transfer based on assumptions about how Fares and Ellyes will return from the tournament. And Hugo Larsson will also be important for us after his injury break. Therefore, a player for the number six position is not currently a priority for me," the coach continued.
