? Libertadores spots, relegation battle: check the Brasileirão table

Four more games continued the 35th round of the Brasileirão.

Battles for a spot in the Libertadores and fights against relegation livened up Sunday (23).

Bahia, for example, which hadn't won in three rounds, defeated Vasco 1-0 at Arena Fonte Nova and is very close to securing a spot in South America's main club tournament next season.

Vasco, on the other hand, suffered its fifth consecutive defeat and remains haunted by the risk (still low, for now) of relegation.

At the same time, São Paulo - which also hadn't won in three rounds - beat Juventude 2-1.

The Tricolor Paulista still has some chance of clinching a spot in the qualifying phases of the 2026 Libertadores.

Meanwhile, Juventude remains in second-to-last place and increasingly desperate with the looming threat of relegation.

In the clash of the red-and-blacks, Vitória defeated Sport 3-1 at Ilha do Retiro, moving out of the relegation zone.

The result pushed Santos into the relegation zone, which did not go unnoticed by Santos' rivals on social media.

Finally, at Mineirão, Cruzeiro comfortably defeated Corinthians 3-0 and, besides still having mathematical chances for the title, has already secured its place in the group stage of the 2026 Libertadores.
