Cardiff Met stun holders TNS in Welsh Cup

Cardiff Met scored two late goals as they came from behind to knock holders The New Saints out of the JD Welsh Cup at the third-round stage.

Jack Bodenham's first-half volley put Saints in front until Jasper Payne equalised with four minutes of the 90 remaining.

Matt Chubb secured a dramatic victory for Met, who recently beat Saints in the league, with a stoppage-time winner.

Cymru North side Llandudno stunned last season's finalists and 2024 winners Connah's Quay Nomads with a 2-1 win.

Former Nomad Ben Maher gave Llandudno the lead on 18 minutes, before Ross Weaver doubled the advantage with a header on 32 minutes.

Dan Roberts pulled a goal back for Nomads with a curling effort from the edge of the area which found the top corner of the net

Eliot Richards, Keston Davies, Ieuan Owen, Daniel Barton and an Ollie Hulbert brace saw six-time Welsh Cup winners Barry Town United win 6-0 win at fellow Cymru Premier side Llanelli.

James Crole scored a hat-trick for Penybont in a 3-1 win at Cambrian United, for whom Liam Eason scored.
